Supervision

This supervision relationship is unique, as it is more of a professional relationship than a managerial one. Professional development and consultation are primary components.
Blue Leather Chair

The Right Balance Counseling, LLC provides clinical supervision for individuals seeking LPC licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. Supervision may occur in an individual, paired, or group setting based on preference and/or availability. The Supervisee must work in a clinical setting as a requirement to obtain supervision at The Right Balance Counseling, LLC. The Supervisee must also receive consistent supervision, no less than one time per month. This will allow the Supervisor to accurately assess the clinical skills of the Supervisee.

Our Goals

The goal of supervision is to provide on-going assessment of strengths and limitations, as well as assure practice according to ethical, legal, and administrative regulations (e.g. ACA Code of Ethics). The Supervisor will help the Supervisee develop clinical assessment and treatment skills, review therapeutic techniques, and explore treatment options. In addition, the Supervisor will address dilemmas created by conflicting demands and specifically target the development of skills needed to practice balance and self-preservation within the profession.
